Team Ontario will definitely have some awesome and very unique jersey colours this summer! They will be rock’n the Ottawa Loggers colours at State Wars 20. The Loggers competed in the RHI from 1995-1997 then changed names to the Ontario Wheels.
Chris Palmer was a big name for the Loggers and during the 1995 season he finished 9th in the league in scoring with 35 goals and 33 assists in 22 games. In the early 2000’s, Palmer was a pretty big name in the Roller Hockey scene and you would occasionally see him at some the Pro tournaments in the summer. Palmer also skated with Team Canada Roller Hockey at World Championships!
Shout out to Ontario’s Brandon Glover who has been playing State Wars since he was a young buck. Glover has always been one of the best players in his age group and also led the Tour Road Runners with 5 pts during Round Robin!
Team Ontario tryouts will be held May 10th (Tri Township Arena) and 11th (Maple Grove Arena).
