We are PUMPED to be hosting the Team NEW YORK State Tryouts as we had done in years past, we will be holding different age tryouts at the two main facilities on Long Island (Skate Safe and Rapid Fire Arena). Our NY state directors Jason Muro and Anthony Violante have done a great job over the years of promoting and helping spearhead the NY teams. Local coaches Dino Virone and Derek Kern will also be instrumental in helping build a strong Team NY program this summer.

New York has rich history at State Wars with many long time players being known around the country as some of the best to ever do it. Players such as Greg Thompson, Billy Pascalli, Derek Kern, Nick Dellamorte, PJ DiMartino, John Schiavo, Joey DiMartino, John McGuinness, Keith Johnson, and KJ Tiefenwerth are just a small sample of NY talent.

We are so thankful for all of the support that New York brings to State Wars. With so many terrific organizations like Black Ice, Tour Road Runners, Mission Snipers, Oceanside Roller Hockey, Bellmore Merrick Roller Hockey, Skate Safe America, Rapid Fire Arena and many independent teams supporting these tryouts, we know Team New York will be a top contender in all ages at State Wars this summer.

State Wars is being held this July at the SportONE Parkview Icehouse in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This state of the art facility houses 3 NHL sized air conditioned rinks with a beautiful sports bar restaurant that oversees all rinks. Fort Wayne is a fun and affordable destination for teams all across the world.
