Pro Divisions ended with Heroics

With everything happening throughout State Wars, it has been non-stop from sunrise to well after midnight. Between youth divisions, the NDP Showcase, skills competitions, and hundreds of games, we finally have a chance to recognize our Pro Divisions.

CarShield Captures the PAMA Pro Invitational

The PAMA Pro Invitational once again showcased the highest level of inline hockey, with every game featuring elite talent and championship intensity.

The championship game delivered everything fans could ask for. After 40 minutes wasn't enough to decide a winner, overtime was needed as CarShield battled the PAMA Labeda Golden Knights in an instant classic.

The hero was none other than Brandon Hawkins, who buried the overtime game-winner to give CarShield the championship. Hawkins' outstanding performance throughout the tournament earned him Most Valuable Player honors, capping off a spectacular weekend for one of the sport's premier players.

Congratulations to CarShield on an incredible championship run, and hats off to the PAMA Labeda Golden Knights for another outstanding tournament and a hard-fought battle that came down to a single shot in overtime.

FREEZ Women's Pro Showdown Delivers Another Classic

The FREEZ Women's Pro Showdown proved once again why women's professional inline hockey continues to reach new heights.

Just like the men's final, the championship needed overtime to determine a winner. With the title on the line, Bianca Lopez scored the golden goal, sending her team to an unforgettable championship victory.

The road to the finals was anything but easy for Black Ice. They made one of the biggest statements of the tournament by eliminating the defending champions, Rinkster, in the semifinals. Riding that momentum into the championship game, Black Ice battled until the very end but ultimately fell just short as another overtime finish crowned the champions.

From dramatic overtime winners to incredible individual performances, both professional divisions showcased everything that makes State Wars special. Congratulations to all of the athletes who competed and put on an incredible show for the fans throughout the week in Fort Wayne.
