2025 Missouri State Tryouts

We are PUMPED to be hosting the Team MISSOURI State Tryouts during the same weekend as Mid West Wars. Tryouts will be held Thur evening May 1st at All American.


Only divisions that a coach may enter their own MO team are 6u and 8u.


Thursday May 1st - at All American

  • (check in at 3:30pm)    4pm - 6pm :    2015, 2014, 2013
  • (check in at 5:30pm)    6pm - 7:30pm : 2012 & 2011
  • (check in at 7:00pm)    7:30pm - 9pm : 2010 & 2009
  • (check in at 8:30pm)    9pm - 10:30pm : 2008 & 2007

*6u and 8u divisions are OPEN for coach to select players for their team. If looking to lay and don't have a team please let us know.*

Missouri has rich history at State Wars with many long time players being known around the country as some of the best to ever do it. Players such as Pat Maroon, Kyle Kraemer, PJ Tallo, JP Beilsten, Kyle Novak, Jared Westcott, Charlie Combs, Brycon Johnson, Jack Combs, Trqavis Fudge, Tommy Bruce, Cody Kettler, and the entire Dunne clan are just a small sample of MO talent. Over the years Team Missouri has been one of the most successful states in the sport of roller hockey and holds many gold medals at State Wars!


We are so thankful for all of the support that Missouri brings to State Wars. With so many terrific coaches, players and families in the state, we know that Team Missouri will be one of the most passionate to play this summer at State Wars. State Wars is an amazing opportunity to play teams from ALL OVER that you normally do not face.



FUN FACT : Tim McManus, President of State Wars Hockey first got involved in working a National event for the now defunct AIRHS tournament series. In 1999, he worked as a tournament director at their Nationals which was held at All American. For the tournament both rinks in the building were roller. A nine year old Pat Maroon played in the tournament along with most of the MO vetearns of the sport.


State Wars is an amazing opportunity to play teams from ALL OVER that you normally do not face. Having a chance to play teams from different parts of North America and beyond is just one of the many amazing parts of State Wars.


State Wars is being held this summer at the beautiful Taylor Sportsplex in Taylor, Michigan. The Sportsplex is such an awesome complex, it houses 3 NHL sized rinks and is AIR CONDITIONED as well. This will be our third time hosting State Wars in Hockey Town and each time the competition has been incredible! We expect another amazing State Wars event in '25!
